In life, there are times where you feel yourself being stretched and trying to find victory after jumping over hurdles. In these times, you have to either follow the lead or sit back and loose what's being given to you or shall I say, being taught to you. As humans, we have to constantly grow, change and develop. There is nothing in this world that can make these times any easier without having to go through the storm. We have to choose how we handle what's being given to us. Good and bad.
As I continue to become what God desires of me, I am discovering what already belongs to me as a child of God. Over the last couple of years, I have had to face some pretty rough storms in my life. Things that I thought would of never happened, I had to face them. Things that I wasn't willing to change, I had to allow them to change. With dealing with these experiences, I was always asking for something from God. I wanted strength. I wanted wisdom. I wanted patience. I wanted victory. Don't get me wrong, I still desire to see these areas develop, but I have learned that God has already given them to us. Yesterday I was listening to a Joyce Meyer podcast and she made mention that "The seed of God is in the womb of your spirit. There is a seed IN you of EVERYTHING that God is and that God has." We have to learn we can't ask for something that we already have. We need to learn to allow it to grow and learn how to use it in the right way. It already belongs to us! We already have it and have every thing that we need to equip us to face the battles in life. But we also have to remember that God has the perfect timing in bringing our desires to the surface along with the victories.
In Mark 11:24 says "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it WILL be yours." The world says that we have to "see it to believe it" and God says for us to "believe it to see it." God knows every desire of our hearts. Including the smallest ones. Believe that they belong to you, because they do! God says so!! It's important to God for us to be walking in victory. We cannot let what is attacking us or making us stretch define who God is or what God says about us. We cannot limit God to what He can do at the same time. God wants us to fellowship with Him, not our sins or whats going on at the present time. We still are going to face trials in our life. We still need to learn to grow and develop the seeds of God that are in us. But we need to let God water them. We need to allow the roots to take their stance in the dirt of our lives, because we are more than conquerors.
